-6045 driving me crazy. ** NOT solved **

well, i installed the latest ATI driver and the 6045's seem to have disappeared. i've been messing around for about an hour now and haven't had one. they were every 5 minutes or less before. the driver i'm using is: wxp-w2k-catalyst-7-95-031028m-011774c.exe Windows Display Driver for ATI RADEON scrolling is sluggish with this driver, but i prefer that to 6045...

one more note, i only installed the driver initially, and that's why the video was sluggish. after i installed the control panel, i was able to change the agp setting to 4x and that cleared up the scrolling problem. it seems to work fine still. my fingers are crossed...
