I normally get around the 23 - 27 mpg on my 2.4T thats with mainly rural driving. I do very little motorway mileage now but used to get around 35mpg That is working it out manually not by what the computer says... even though its not far out.

Happy New Year ! everyone... Wow ! ONLY 650 out of an S80 with a 17,6 gallon tank ! :emoticon_U: Assuming you refill the tank before it goes into the red (a couple of gallons left) that's just over 41.5mpg I'm sobbing at that with an S60 with a 15,4 gallon tank. 700 is the norm. My commute is 10 miles each way, max. speed 50mph due to speed limits, with speed cameras and frequent road side police checks. Average MPG just over 52. Has anyone with Volvo fitted GPS noticed an error in their speedometer reading ? I bought a Sony Nav-u71T system and at 50mph there's a 3 mph error. Even at 30mph, a speed at which I though all speedo's were supposed to be accurate, there's almost a 7% error. GPS speed is 28mph on a flat road (I know GPS speed is not accurate on undulating surfaces i.e. mountainous routes).
